Old Glory!
Our Cub Scout pack got to help with a flag restoration project. Some of the boys helped wash the flags while the adults ironed them. The finials had to be painted and glued back on, and the flags had to be stapled to the poles. These flags go on the graves of veterans at memorial day. They try to be economical by reusing as many as possible. They got over 800 ready to go that night, which seems like a lot until you find out that there are over 26,000 to do!!!! It was a fun service project that I hope we'll do again.
