Bro. G treated SM to a ride in his 1942 plane on Saturday. I wasn't sure what SM's reaction would be, but the smile on his face when they got back (an hour after take off) was awesome! They flew all over the area and even landed at the Gallatin airport for a minute. He had a great time and even got a crash course in flying the plane. Bro. G let him fly the plane for a while! I think my favorite part was the gas gauge- a wire in a cork that floats on the top of the gas in the tank. If the wire goes down, it's time to refuel.
