T started her first day of preschool. It is going really well and the kids are all having a lot of fun. There are two girls and two boys, quite a nice combination. T could hardly sleep the night before and has talked about 'pwekool at my hou' for days. Her brothers were almost as excited than she was. Once I started getting things out, they remembered all the posters, carpet squares and other preschool 'stuff' and had a fun trip down memory lane.
Ch 'bought' T a pencil case with the points he earned at school. His teacher thought it was strange that he wanted a pink pencil case, but when he explained who it was for, she thought that he was a pretty great big brother. We think he is too!
SM got to participate in the stake's first '11-year old scout camp'! As usual, Brother Hawkins went all out and the boys had a lot of fun. The theme was the Mormon Batallion. They even managed to get in 5 miles of hiking that day!
SM was the leader of the Idaho Potoato Company (hence the white strapy things across his uniform). Way to go - Idaho!
And finally, we ended with a visit from Papa and Grandma. Christian played a great game of baseball, even though in the end they tied. We went out to Dairy Queen after the game-yummy! SM got an extra blizzard because he was in uniform! That kid has the luck gene - he also found $5 at the baseball game -in the garbage - in the bathroom. (You may ask why he was looking in there, but if you know SM you don't need to ask...)
